Tridion Community Builder (UGC) for the Community
Dominic will take us on a walk through of what SDL’s Community Builder application has to offer.
Presenter: Dominic Cronin, Principal Consultant, Indivirtual
Dominic first encountered Tridion early in 2001 (the current version was 4.1). He worked in Tridion R&D for several years and was on the core team during development of Tridion R5, (up to and including 5.1 SP4). Since 2005 he has worked in the field, consulting on all aspects of the Tridion suite, as well as implementing customisations, designing infrastructure and providing advice on architecture and on web content management. He currently works for SDL delivery partner, Indivirtual, as principal consultant.
SDL Tridion 2011 PowerTools Goes Live
Alvin recaps the PowerTools story, then demos updated functionality for the “just-in-time” Q2 release. We’ll also take a moment to identify needs and volunteers for the next release.
Presenter: Alvin Reyes, Consultant, SDL WCMS
Alvin was unique as the first, and only, Tridion MVP award winner from the SDL client community. He has enjoyed interacting with the consultant- and user-community on Tridion World and has recently joined SDL’s Web Content Management Services (WCMS) Division as a functional consultant.
With a background project management and software development, he enjoys helping Tridion customers users find well-fitted solutions that balance business wants with system needs. From web development intern, to internet research associate, to Web business analyst he’s helped document, implement, and train users in Tridion and other systems. He credits recent success to involvement with the dynamic Tridion community and continues to contribute on the Tridion World forum and through his blog, available at http://createandbreak.net.
Interesting topics! but unfortunately won’t be able to join.
